Project-based, hands-on FIRST^®programs introduce students to engineering and coding/programming in an inclusive, creative, and hopeful environment where students work collaboratively to solve a yearly robotics challenge. Boosted by a global support system of mentors, educators, volunteers, sponsors, and alumni, our PreK-12 programs are designed to inspire innovation and help young people build a better future.

For centuries, sports have played an integral part in our culture. The FIRST community is building a culture that recognizes the athlete in each of us. This season, our programs represent the evolution of our sports and activities that make us physically and mentally strong. We’re teaming up with Disney and Lucasfilm for our 2020-2021 robotics season theme: FIRST^® GAME CHANGERS^SM, powered by Star Wars: Force for Change.
