Department of Education (DepEd) and FELTA have officially renewed partnership by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), solidifying their partnership to advance Robotics Technology in Education to give students the opportunity to expand their horizons through exploration of robotics and robotics systems . Robotics Technology promotes STEM learning through creative thinking, innovation, communication and cooperation skills.
As part of this collaboration, DepEd will support key STEM education events such as the Philippine Robotics Olympiad (PRO), FIRST LEGO League Philippines (FLL Philippines) , Robot Virtual Games, ( RVG) and the World Robot Olympiad Philippines including the hosting of the World Robot Olympiad Philippines Open Championship 2025 to be held in Manila , Philippines in September 19-21,2025.
