Taguig City formally unveiled three state-of-the-art learning spaces on February 20, 2025, at the Senator Renato “Compañero” Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School. These include a Robotics Lab for hands-on training in automation and artificial intelligence, a Computer Lab dedicated to coding, programming, and digital literacy, and a Digital Classroom designed to enhance student engagement through interactive and immersive lessons.
These facilities reflect the city’s commitment to producing future-ready graduates equipped with skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Beyond the physical upgrades, Taguig DigiTech focuses on developing responsible digital citizens. The program integrates digital literacy training into the curriculum, teaching students how to navigate the internet safely and use technology responsibly. Students will receive education on Responsible Digital Citizenship, emphasizing ethical online behavior, respect for intellectual property rights, and the creation of a positive digital footprint. Additionally, courses on Basic Cybersecurity and Digital Safety Measures will train students to recognize and avoid online threats such as phishing, malware, and scams.
2,400 Teachers of DepEd -City of Taguig will also undergo comprehensive Digital Literacy Training to be conducted by FELTA Multi-Media Inc. Simultaneous Training by FELTA Digital Experts will be conducted.
Mayor Cayetano reiterated that the program is driven by a deep commitment to the future of Taguig’s students, stating, “Every child in Taguig has the right to dream, to succeed, and to build a better future. As a transformative, lively, and caring city, it is our duty to provide them with the right tools, the right knowledge, and the right environment to achieve this. Today marks a significant step in fulfilling this vision.”
