FELTA Multi-Media Inc. organized a Back to Back School Technology International Summit in Manila at Miriam Innovation Center , Quezon City and at Ecotech Center, Lahug, Cebu City (hosted by Department of Education Region 7) last June 20 and June 21, 2019. Over 600 participants in both summits attended the event. Dr. Barbara Bratzel, from Tufts University Boston, USA was Keynote Speaker. Low floor, High ceiling! LEGO Robotics provide challenging, creative, open-ended projects for students of all ages and experience levels. In her talk, she showed how to use robotics to enhance curriculum at any level even in university”. Dr. Rita Abdellafiti, from Data & Artificial Region, MICROSOFT, was the second Keynote Speaker. A graduate of University of La Sorbonne, Paris, France. She spoke about Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics. Artificial Intelligence and integration in Robotics Education.
All the delegates were given Hands on Workshops on LEGO Robotics EV3, We Do Robotics for Early Learners, Minecraft for Education, INTEL Education Devices and the first to have training on the new LEGO Robotics SPIKE Prime.
The highlights of the Summit was the MOA Signing between Science Education Institute -Department of Science and Technology (SEI-DOST) with FELTA , The establishment of the Philippine Robotics ACHIEVERS CIRCLE with Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Inc. as the sole member and awardee to date and the Raffle Prizes from The Walt Disney Company (Philippines) and LEGO Education.
FELTA remains to be the trailblazer in introducing the latest School Technology in the Philippines!
