The Intramuros Administration led by Administrator Atty. Guiller Asido with FELTA Multi -Media Inc. headed by it’s President/ CEO Mylene Abiva, the official and exclusive partner of LEGO Education in the Philippines , officially established by virtue of a Memorandum of Agreement in June 2017 the iMake History Fortress LEGO Education Design Learning Center, a project for the adaptive reuse and restoration of the Baluarte de Santa Barbara Chamber and Santa Barbara Cuartel in Fort Santiago, Intramuros. It will be a creative and modern venue for training the youth to be architects, designers and engineers. iMake History Fortress will feature LEGO Education learning materials, with trainings taking an interactive learning approach with the use of architecture/ building , early engineering, history, STEMand computer programming as well as architecture/ history modules to showcase the rich history of Intramuros , Philippines. The Santa Barbara Chamber showcases LEGO Architectural Scale Model exhibitions of Universities and Colleges from all over the Philippines. iMake History Fortress is the home of the first and only LEGO Philippine Eagle Robot and LEGO Jeepney in the world. Special guests , Secretary Wanda Tulfo Teo (Department of Tourism), Secretary Fortunato dela Pena (Department of Science & Technology) , Brian Dam (LEGO Education , Denmark) , Amb. Jan Top Christensen (Royal Danish Embassy Manila) , Paolo Balinas (Microsoft Philippines) , Congresswoman Crystal Bagatsing joined Mylene Abiva (FELTA) and Atty. Guiller Asido (Intramuros Administration) in the Opening held last March 19, 2018 . University of Sto. Tomas won 1st prize, Don Bosco Technical College 2nd prize and National University 3rd prize in the LEGO Architecture Scale Model Competition. Come visit iMake History Fortress in Fort Santiago!
