For the first time, the Philippine Robotics Team was composed of an ALL girls team (age 13-16 years old) from Dr. Yanga Colleges Inc. , Bocaue ,Bulacan. The team UBUNTU Imagineers presented their robot named PAPYRUS which recycles waste paper into pencils. Another robot can recycle paper by shredding, blending with water, heated and turned into new sheets of paper. UBUNTU Imagineers also ranked one of the highest in FLL Philippine team history in the Robot Game. 6th FLL Philippines is scheduled to be held on February 25, 2017 with the theme “Animal Allies”.
